Natalie Barrass and Olly Bamford became the proud owners of a disused building over a decade ago.
They transformed it into the destination pizza restaurant it is today. 60 tonnes of rubble was excavated, and 3 years of toil and love was poured back in. Site's owners made every effort to preserve original features and reuse materials to keep the building's history intact.
Since first service in 2014, Site has cemented themselves as a firm fixture in the heart of Todmorden, West Yorkshire - a former mill town with a vibrant community of people and independent businesses.
Site has always aimed to tread as lightly as possible. From the food we source to renovation materials, kindness and sustainability is part of our DNA.

We are often looking for people willing to learn the craft of making Neapolitan pizza from scratch in an industrial wood-fired pizza oven.
This would be an exciting opportunity working under the guidance of an experienced Pizza Chef to learn a new and sought-after artisanal skill.
Working at a pizza oven in a busy restaurant setting requires a high level of energy and organisation, so we look for enthusiastic, self-motivated & reliable people.

APPROVED + GENUINE
Please be reassured that the Site wood-fired pizza oven is certified by DEFRA, and has Clean Air Act Approved status.
This means that the fuel used cannot contain any halogenated organic compounds or heavy metals as a result of treatments with wood preservatives or coatings.
The fuel used is only ever locally sourced wood logs, as specified under The Smoke Control Areas (Exempted Fireplaces) (England) Order 2015.
